The idea of our outdoor stage at the edge of the forest was born in 2010, even before the start of construction work on the larger accommodation. In fact, it already had its place before anything else was built here. In the summer of 2010, we were lucky enough to attend a special concert in Tuscany with our family. More precisely, at its main rehearsal, which, due to its informality, gave it a unique and unrepeatable atmosphere. Among the Tuscan hills covered with fields in Lajatico, Andrea Bocelli and his friends built a stage with a unique atmosphere, here they created the Teatro del Silenzio. The stage had to be driven for nearly 15 minutes on dirt roads, surrounded by no built environment or infrastructure, only nature and silence. It was a defining experience and gave me great motivation. A few years passed and the right moment came. This is how a big stage was created in 2016 among the hills of Zala, with huge forests behind it, which we inaugurated in May 2017 with the Hungarian Pauline Order. Our goal was to attract unique, high-quality cultural events worthy of the environment here.
In the fall of 2017, we got to know the Arts for Rural Development Foundation, and a joint thinking started immediately, which quickly turned into a ready-made program. Örvényeshegy Piknik was born and started, which became a family-friendly, unique atmosphere of all arts festival. For 3 years, usually at the end of May, we broke the year-round silence for 3 days. The estate was transformed and filled with literature, music, theater and children's games on 3 stages. In 2018, one of the world's best guitarists, the Grammy award winner Al Di Meola opened the programs, providing a unique, special and unrepeatable experience for those lucky enough to be there.
While in 2018 Al Di Meola called the atmosphere on the property of the Pálos Resort a small Woodstock, in 2019 the king of Italian soul, Mario Biondi and his band stood in awe at Örvényeshegy. Mario Biondi's gently humming voice, the genius and immediacy of his musicians swept the audience off their feet.

In the summer months, we organize small acoustic concerts with wine tasting and tapas snacks, and sometimes we also organize a garden cinema. We set up the several-meter-long giant screen at our main stage in the forest, and we watch the films from the comfort of our seats under the starry sky. We announce our current programs on our Facebook page!
